Alkali-Resistant Glass Fibre

Uses: Additional Reinforcement for Sprayed or Premix GRC

AR Glass Fibre Net is manufactured from Alkali-Resistant Glass Fibre yarn and used in cement. A special weaving process gives the net stability, which is further aided through the addition of a specially formulated polymer.

The zirconia content of the Glass Fibres is between 14.5 and 16.5% and complies with International European and USA specifications.

The net possesses good binding properties with cementitious materials and is easy to position. It does not rot or corrode therefore requiring minimum cover.

  • Positioned reinforcement in GRC products
  • Reinforcement to a render or engineered insulation system

NEG ARG Fibre Net 10×10 is made of Glass Fibre which contains the largest content of ZrO² commercially available.
